ALSEA CONCLUDES THE PROCESS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF 22 STORES FROM A SUBFRANCHISEE OF DOMINO'S PIZZA

Mexico City, September 5, 2016. Alsea, SAB de C.V. (BMV: ALSEA *) the leading operator of Quick Service Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Casual and Family Dining establishments in Latin America and Spain, announces the conclusion on Friday, September 2, 2016 of the operation related to the acquisition of 100% of the assets of 22 Domino's Pizza stores from a subfranchisee who until this acquisition had exclusive rights to develop and operate the brand in certain areas of the State of Mexico, within the metropolitan area of Mexico City and in the state of Hidalgo.

Federico Tejado, CEO of Alsea Mexico said: "We are happy to have completed this transaction, in line with our business model and strategic growth, as this allows us to open new units within this territory." He also mentioned: "With this transaction, we exceeded the 400 corporate units of the Domino's Pizza brand, which together with the franchisee system in Mexico confirms our leading position in the market, having more than 620 units in the country."
