Alstom announces that it has successfully delivered the first fully automated four-car Metropolis metro trainset to the Department of Rapid Transit Systems of the City of Taipei, Taiwan.

The train is destined for the 22.8-kilometer Wanda-Zhonghe-Shulin metro line, which 'will provide a seamless link between Taipei and the city of New Taipei, reducing travel time by 30 minutes once fully operational'.

The Wanda-Zhonghe-Shulin line, connected to four other lines, will transform the daily lives of Taiwanese living around Taipei, and reinforces Alstom's commitment to Taiwan, where the company has been present for over 40 years", adds the group.
