Alstom has delivered to Metrorex, the Bucharest metro operator, a new-generation driving simulator for the Metropolis metro trains dedicated to line 5, as part of the rolling stock contract.

The simulator incorporates the latest features and capabilities of virtual reality technologies to train metro drivers and operating technicians to operate metro trains.

It is installed at Metrorex's premises, more precisely at the Valea Ialomitei station on line 5.
