Alstom: design unveiled for new Coradia Stream trains

Alstom announces that the design of the new Coradia Stream trains, designed for Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), was unveiled at the Tomorrow Mobility World Congress in Barcelona.

Manufactured at the Santa Perpètua de Mogoda site, these trains will link Barcelona to El Prat airport from 2026, with features adapted to air travelers, including luggage space and wider aisles.

Capable of accommodating 656 passengers, they will incorporate advanced signalling systems, real-time information screens and accessibility features for people with reduced mobility.

Designed according to eco-responsible criteria, these trains aim to reduce road congestion and CO₂ emissions.
