Alstom: has delivered two trains for the Singapore metro
The group has deployed the first two trains on the Bukit Panjang Light Rail Transit (BPLRT) line.
The contract includes the upgrade of the CBTC Cityflo 650 system, the supply of 19 new Innovia APM R cars and the upgrade of 13 existing Innovia APM cars.
Yann Maixandeau, Alstom's Managing Director for Singapore and Malaysia, said: ' The upgraded BPLRT trains will feature state-of-the-art technology, ensuring a safer, more comfortable and more efficient journey for all passengers. This milestone underlines our commitment to improving urban mobility in Singapore, offering residents a seamless and sustainable travel experience'.
