Alstom, biggest rail transport manufacturer in Poland, appointed Slawomir Cyza as CEO and Managing Director of Alstom in Poland, Ukraine and Baltic States.

Slawomir Cyza will be responsible for managing Alstom organisation in each country and will play a key role in further integration of the company following the merger with Bombardier Transportation in January 2021. This appointment reinforces Alstom's focus and commitment to more local and sustainable business growth and industrial presence in these strategically important countries, Poland being one of the biggest countries in CEE markets for Alstom.

Slawomir Cyza has been with Alstom for over 10 years, first as HR Director for Poland and Alstom Konstal Site in Chorzow, and later as HR Director for Central and Eastern Europe cluster (CEE). He has been building Alstom organisation throughout CEE cluster comprising of 17 countries. He also served as the Member of the Management Boards of several Alstom legal entities. Over the years, Slawomir Cyza has led multiple breakthrough projects that involved large scale organisational changes in Poland and other countries of the cluster.
