Altice USA (NYSE: ATUS) today announces the appointment of Shuvankar Roy as the company's Senior Vice President of Customer Experience. Shuvankar reports directly to Matt Marino, Executive Vice President of Consumer Services.

Shuvankar (Shu), who joins Altice USA with over two decades of experience at various major telecommunications providers, is responsible for enhancing the Altice USA customer journey, with a focus on implementing a modern, refreshed, and consistent service and support experience to better serve the company's five million customers across 21 states.

"Shuvankar Roy has a deep rooted understanding of today's consumer and their expectations for quality service and support. I am excited to have him join our team as we look to deliver a superior and consistent experience for our Optimum and Suddenlink customers across all company touchpoints," said Matt Marino, Altice USA's Executive Vice President of Consumer Services.

Shu joins Altice USA from Comcast, where he most recently served as the Vice President of Connectivity Operations. During his time at Comcast, he shaped the product operations and customer experience strategy for the Xfinity portfolio of connectivity services. Shu also previously held executive positions at Cogeco, the Canadian cable operator, and later at Radialpoint (or App Direct) a technology solutions provider.

Shu currently serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the telecommunications space and across industries. He holds an MBA from The University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Manipal Institute of Technology, Mangalore University, in Karnataka, India.
