Altria Group Inc. increased its quarterly dividend by 4.7%, the company said Thursday.
The company's new dividend is 90 cents a share, up from its previous dividend of 86 cents a share.
The dividend will be payable on Oct. 12 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 15. The ex-dividend date will be Sept. 14, it said.
The annual dividend rate will now be $3.60 a share.
