AMA Group Limited announce the update of the Motor Repair Services Agreement (MRSA) with leading insurer Suncorp has been completed. While the details of the agreement are commercially sensitive, the mechanism agreed during the fiscal year 2024 negotiations to adjust price with reference to industry specific inflationary measures has been applied. AMA Group and Suncorp have also reaffirmed their commitment to working together to best serve Suncorp's customers with high quality, cost-efficient and timely repairs.
This includes continued utilisation of Capital SMART and AMA Collision network capacity, targeting twelve new locations and an additional 40,000 annual repairs over the next four years. Supporting the improvement in repair quality and efficiency, Capital SMART completed a transformation project called Project SHIFT in FY24 which was completed ahead of plan and: Converted a majority of Capital SMART sites to undertake a broader range of severity repairs and thereby reducing vehicle movement between sites; Increased use of non-OEM parts to reduce costs, consistent with the insurer framework; and Adjusted business processes and further employee training to realise operational efficiencies.
