Operating loss was MYR 3,313,000 against profit of MYR 4,153,000 a year ago. Profit Attributable to owners of the Parent was MYR 31,079,000 or 4.31 sen per diluted share against MYR 6,819,000 or 0.31 sen per diluted share a year ago. Revenue is lower by MYR 21.2 million mainly due to a sale of a piece of land located in Pajam, Negeri Sembilan in the corresponding quarter and also lower sales achieved for Malaysia property projects. For the six months, the company reported revenue of MYR 70,143 96,803,000 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 4,239,000 against MYR 10,345,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was MYR 35,412,000 against MYR 16,314,000 a year ago. Profit Attributable to owners of the Parent was MYR 32,409,000 or 4.50 sen per diluted share against MYR 11,297,000 or 1.06 sen per diluted share a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was MYR 32,628,000 against net cash generated from operating activities of MYR 14,584,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 32,972,000 against MYR 33,732,000 a year ago. The revenue was lower by 28% mainly due to lower sales contribution from Malaysia properties division.
