América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:AMX L) said it has received authorization from the National Banking and Securities Commission to list the shares of its spun-off infrastructure business, called Sitios Latam, on the Mexican stock market. Sitios Latam will be listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange as of September 29, 2022 and current América Móvil shareholders will be entitled to receive one security of the new company for every 20 shares they own of the telecommunications giant's series 'A', 'AA' or 'L'. September 29 will be the exercise start day for América Móvil shares (excupon), so AMX securities will trade as of that day without the right to receive Sitios Latam shares.

"AMX will request to the BMV that the opening market price of the series 'A' and 'L' shares representing the capital stock of AMX, as well as the series 'B-1' shares of Sitios Latam, at the beginning of the auction session of the excupón date, be determined, each one, by the market through a spin-off auction of AMX's series 'A' and 'L' shares and Sitios Latam's series 'B-1' shares, at the beginning of the auction session on the date of the delisting date, in accordance with the methodology set forth in the BMV's internal regulations," said América Móvil in a press release.
