American Express to Immerse Platinum Card® Members in Art and Culture at the Platinum Studio in Miami Beach

Platinum Studio will feature Artsy and Trove's emerging artists collection, Global Dining Access by Resy experience with Carbone, Equinox signature classes and live performance by Lizzo at American Express UNSTAGED

New York - November 9, 2021: Today, American Express announced its return to Miami's art scene with the Platinum Studio, a curated oasis on the beach outside of The Miami Beach EDITION from December 2-4. At the intersection of art and culture, Platinum Studio will feature programming that brings the American Express Platinum Card Member benefits to life and celebrates emerging artists and creators.

Throughout the week, Platinum Card Members will have the opportunity to experience Art x Platinum through a series of unique art, dining, wellness and entertainment experiences, including:

The Platinum Studio Collectable Experience

Open Daily, December 2 - 4 from 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.

American Express is partnering with Artsy, a leading marketplace to discover, buy and sell fine art, to curate its first in-person exhibition of Trove, an online collection of art from emerging artists, at the Platinum Studio. This interactive exhibit will feature up to 20 works by diverse groups of contemporary artists, including unique pieces of furniture and decor curated by Surface Area, allowing Card Members to immerse themselves in the artist community with the option to purchase pieces through an interactive web-based experience. Eligible American Express Card Members who enroll in the Artsy Amex Offer and spend $750 on eligible Artsy purchases will receive $150 back in statement credits.¹

Bespoke Dining Events

Open Friday, December 3 from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. & Saturday, December 4 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Global Dining Access by Resy partner Major Food Group will bring Carbone to La Vista Terrace at The Miami Beach EDITION. The menu will feature Carbone favorites such as Spicy Rigatoni Vodka and Caesar alla ZZ. Eligible Card Members can access reservations on Resy.

Equinox Signature Classes

Classes will be held Thursday, December 2: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. & 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. & Friday, December 3: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Platinum Card Members can relax and unwind with Equinox at the Platinum Studio. Equinox will offer its signature group fitness classes including Yoga, Sound Bath and Immersive Pilates. Eligible Card Members can book classes here starting Tuesday, November 16.

Live American Express UNSTAGED Experience with Lizzo

Saturday, December 4 at 9:00 p.m. ET at the Platinum Studio

For the first time since 2015, American Express UNSTAGED is back in front of a live audience with a performance from Lizzo hosted by American Express at the Platinum Studio. Limited tickets to the live performance will be available for Platinum Card Members starting Tuesday, November 16. Eligible Card Members will receive an email with information on how to book tickets.

For Card Members and fans who will not attend in person in Miami, the performance will be streamed globally on LIVENow. Fans and Card Members can purchase tickets for the live stream. In addition, Card Members can also purchase exclusive VIP packages for the live stream here while supplies last.²
