Item 8.01. Other Events.

On June 23, 2021, American International Group, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the extension of the expiration time of its previously announced cash tender offers for certain debt securities. The Company also announced the extension of the consent deadline of its solicitations of consents for a subset of such debt securities. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by reference.
