AMER NAT BKSHS DANVILLE, VA, August 20, 2021 - American National Bank & Trust Company announced today the addition of Elizabeth Hammond, Chief Financial Officer of both Cobblestone Milk Cooperative and Mountain View Farms of Virginia, LLC to its Virginia State banking board.

In addition to her CFO positions, Hammond serves as Treasurer of Olde Dominion Agricultural Foundation in Chatham, Virginia. She was previously in public accounting for more than 25 years, specializing in small business accounting, payroll, and Federal and multi-state entity and individual taxation.
A native of Henry County and a graduate of Averett College (now University), Hammond started her accounting career in Danville with her final accounting position with Brown Edwards in Roanoke.
American National President and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey V. Haley remarked, 'Elizabeth is such a great fit to our State Banking board. Her background and experience provides unique, first-hand knowledge of each of our Virginia communities. That rich understanding combined with her financial and accounting expertise is quite valuable to us.'

Elizabeth currently resides in Roanoke and enjoys time with her two sons and four grandchildren.
