American West Metals Limited is a mineral exploration company. The principal activities of the Company include development of the zinc-copper-indium deposit at West Desert, Utah as well as exploration across the broader project area, expanding the high-grade discoveries at the Storm Copper and Seal Zinc Projects, Nunavut, and establishing a resource at the expansive Copper Warrior Project, Utah. It is focused on the discovery of copper and other clean energy mineral deposits in North America. Its projects include West Desert, Storm, Seal Zinc and Silver Deposit, and Copper Warrior. The West Desert project is located in west-central Utah, approximately 160 kilometers (km) southwest of Salt Lake City. The Storm Copper Project is located on Somerset Island, Nunavut, Canada. The Project covers an area of over 4,000 square kilometers within the Polaris mineral district. The Copper Warrior project is located 45 km south of Moab, Utah, within the Paradox Basin.
