Notice to the Market

Americanas S.A. ("Americanas") announces that its subsidiary IF Capital Ltda., the Company's innovation engine, signed, on this date, an agreement for the acquisition of Skoob Books 3D Serviços de Internet Ltda. ("Skoob"), the largest digital platform of reading content in the country.

Launched in 2009, Skoob provides a digital literary experience through a platform that offers several functionalities. Among them is a virtual library, which allows the organization of current, completed and future readings, access to reviews and evaluation of literary works, in addition to providing interaction between readers, publishers and authors. The platform and app allow interactivity with other social networks, as well as eCommerce sites, through an affiliate program.

Skoob has more than 8 million skoobers, as the platform's users are called, who have already carried out more than 45 million reviews of literary works. Reviews play an important role in leveraging sales, increasing the conversion of the book category by up to 40%, a segment of Brazilian eCommerce that stands out as a gateway for new customers, with a CAC (customer acquisition cost) 3.6 times lower than the average, in addition to having a purchase frequency 50% higher than the industry average.

The acquisition is a strategic move by Americanas to be even more relevant in the daily lives of its customers, boosting engagement, recurrence and the reach of new customers. This strategy is in line with our purpose of adding together what is good in the world to improve people's lives.

Americanas clarifies that the transaction was carried out through its subsidiary, IF Capital Ltda., therefore the procedures described in art. 256 of Law 6.404/76 do not apply.
