AMP's philanthropic arm, the AMP Foundation, has today announced a $50,000 donation to the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal (FRRR) and pledged to match employee donations (up to $20,000), to support communities in New South Wales and Queensland with flood recovery.

Head of AMP Foundation Helen Liondos said:

"The floods have caused devastating loss and damage to lives, homes and livelihoods and, through our donation to the FRRR's flood recovery appeal, devasted communities will be supported with the difficult recovery ahead.

"We're also backing AMP team members who want to contribute by dollar-matching employee donations up to $20,000."

FRRR is Australia's only national philanthropic Foundation dedicated to rural and regional Australia, providing grants to local charities and community groups for community-led recovery and resilience building.

About the AMP Foundation

The AMP Foundation is the main vehicle through which AMP invests in the community. Since 1992, it has distributed more than A$105 million to the community.

Its goal is to help create a better tomorrow for everyone, by investing in non-profit initiatives that enhance the financial well-being of disadvantaged Australians and by supporting individuals to do great things in the community.
