(Alliance News) - Amplifon Spa has announced that it has signed a new sustainability-linked loan in the amount of EUR75 million with Mediobanca - Banca di Credito Finanziario Spa.

As the company explained in a note, in addition to the previous five sustainability-linked loans, this loan - with a five-year eamortizing term - is part of the ongoing integration of ESG factors into the Amplifon Group's operational and financial strategy.

"Through this transaction, which is characterized by particularly favorable terms, Amplifon further strengthens its liquidity position, diversifies its funding sources and extends the average maturity of its debt," the note continues.

Amplifon trades down 1.2 percent to EUR24.51 per share, Mediobanca gives up 1.4 percent to EUR14.06 per share.
