The Japanese airline known as ANA has proposed to a labor union that full-time flight attendants take partially paid leave on dates designated by the company, they said.
At the same time, the company plans to cut executive remuneration and managers' wages, the sources said.
ANA has sharply cut domestic flights due to declining travel demand as the pandemic has forced the postponement of sports events, the closure of cultural and leisure facilities, and the cancellation of business and leisure trips.
