ANDRITZ AG Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.
The new furnace cell supplied by ANDRITZ will incorporate the largest furnaces in China, with two 115-ton round-top melters and two 125-ton tilting holders.
The ANDRITZ scope of supply includes engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, start-up and follow-up services. ANDRITZ will supply the most advanced equipment and technology for state-of-the-art operation, thus ensuring highest environmental protection.
ANDRITZ also supplied four casting cells for this customer's casting workshop in 2012, which at that time was the largest high-end aluminum plate and strip casthouse in China. The furnaces supplied by ANDRITZ are the largest aluminum melting furnaces ever supplied to China.
Zouping Hongfa Aluminium Science Technology Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Weiqiao Aluminum, the largest electrolytic aluminum producer in the world.
