Andritz AG said Tuesday that it will supply power plant-equipment worth around 65 million euros ($76.8 million) to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Nashville District.

Under the contract, the Austrian plant-engineering company will provide electromechanical equipment for the Barkley hydropower plant in Kentucky. The agreement includes the design and manufacture of four Kaplan turbine generator units.

The contract will be executed by Andritz's U.S. subsidiary.
