AOI Electronics Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 23,780 million against JPY 22,099 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 3,487 million against JPY 2,888 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 3,646 million against JPY 2,647 million a year ago. Net income attributable to the company was JPY 2,570 million or JPY 214.25 per share against JPY 2,036 million or JPY 169.69 per share a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2018.
