Apex Healthcare Berhad announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2016. For the quarter, the company’s revenue was MYR 142,960,000 compared to MYR 128,268,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 11,536,000 compared to MYR 7,721,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to ordinary equity holders of the parent was MYR 8,736,000 or 7.45 sen per diluted share compared to MYR 5,381,000 or 4.59 sen per basic and diluted share a year ago.
For the nine months, the company’s revenue was MYR 437,123,000 compared to MYR 392,611,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 36,215,000 compared to MYR 28,677,000 a year ago. Net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders of the parent was MYR 28,198,000 or 24.06 sen per diluted share compared to MYR 20,430,000 or 17.44 sen per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net cash generated from operating activities was MYR 28,288,000 compared to MYR 15,631,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment & intangible assets was MYR 7,351,000 compared to MYR 3,796,000 a year ago.
