APL Apollo Tubes Limited announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the fourth quarter, the company announced total revenue was INR 25,990.1 million compared to INR 18,968.3 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,192.2 million compared to INR 568.2 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 9.55 compared to INR 4.57 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 9.52 compared to INR 4.53 a year ago. For the full year, total revenue was INR 85,356.9 million compared to INR 77,454.1 million a year ago. Net income was INR 3,601.6 million compared to INR 2,379.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 28.91 compared to INR 19.43 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 28.81 compared to INR 19.26 a year ago.
APL Apollo Tubes Limited is a producer of structural steel tubes in India. The Company is engaged in the business of production of electric resistance welded (ERW) steel tubes. Its multi-product offerings include over 1,100 varieties of pre- galvanized tubes, structural steel tubes, galvanized tubes, MS black pipes and hollow sections. Its products are used in various applications, which include agricultural and plumbing, firefighting, furniture, metros, railings, solar panels, balcony grills, sheds, greenhouse structures, plumbing and lighting poles, among others.
