NEW YORK (AP) _ Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance (ARI) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $36.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the New York-based company said it had net income of 23 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 36 cents per share.

The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $64.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $18.4 million, or 1 cent per share. Revenue was reported as $278.7 million.

Apollo Commerical Finance shares have increased 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $12.39, a drop of 33% in the last 12 months.
