NEW YORK (AP) _ Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance (ARI) on Monday reported first-quarter earnings of $15.2 million.

The New York-based company said it had net income of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 35 cents per share.

The real estate investment trust posted revenue of $55.1 million in the period.

Apollo Commerical Finance shares have increased roughly 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $13.28, a fall of 12% in the last 12 months.
