Apollo Tyres Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 50,773.21 million compared to INR 42,949 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 51,062.12 million compared to INR 43,211.09 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,738.18 million compared to net loss of INR 2,462.81 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.74 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of INR 4.08 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 2.74 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of INR 4.08 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 96,617.92 million compared to INR 71,766.42 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 97,311.33 million compared to INR 72,213.92 million a year ago. Net income was INR 3,016.06 million compared to net loss of INR 3,808.62 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 4.75 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of INR 6.35 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 4.75 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of INR 6.35 a year ago.
