Applus Services S A : A new section in our website dedicated to sustainability as a key element in our business growth strategy

The Applus+ website now includes a Sustainability section where we outline the steps we have taken with regards to suastainability to become a key player in our industry, expanding our operations globally in a sustainable way.

At Applus+, sustainability means ensuring the company's continued economic performance and integrity, while guaranteeing environmental protection, social development and business ethics.

We've created a new section to reflect our sustainability approach which is set out over five pages:

The "Focus" page highlights the Applus+ Group strategies linked with our contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as our own short- and medium-term sustainability vision and goals.

On the "Environment" page, we explain our commitment to sustainability through the creation of our Global ESG Policy. In addition, we outline our main initiatives for the protection of the environment, which are mainly related to energy consumption and the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, water consumption and waste generation.

The "Society" page aims to show the company's commitment to the well-being of all its employees, such as the importance of work-life balance, the protection of employees through the Quality, Prevention and Environment Policy that aims for zero accidents in the workplace, our annual global Safety Day event to raise health and safety awareness, and social action projects promoted by the company.

On the "Corporate Governance" page we lay out the model that guarantees the fulfillment of our long-term objectives in order to meet our stakeholders' expectations. Here we also set out some of the key milestones from 2021.

The last page lists some of the most relevant Applus+ projects from the last few years that have contributed to sustainability.
