Applus+ presents Applus+ Ventures, a corporate venturing programme with the aim of promoting innovation and sustainable technological development for the company and society. The newspaper Cinco Días reports on our new initiative in this article.

Applus+ Ventures combines the advantages of a large company with the motivation and innovative technologies of startups. This corporate venturing programme was created to provide innovative entities with our global coverage, by partnering with one of the leading global companies in the ICT sector, and receiving strategic, technical and financial support.

The initiatives that emerge from the co-creation between Applus+, entrepreneurs and startups will allow the company to test new technologies to enhance its portfolio of services. We are targeting startups committed to improve ESG, as part of Applus+ firm commitment to boost its environmental, social and governance indicators.

"The goal of the Applus+ Ventures programme is to establish new sources of innovation and connect Applus+ with entrepreneurial ecosystems," notes Cristina Baschwitz, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Applus+. "We seek to cooperate with startups, as well as with other corporations, technology companies, universities and innovation hubs, whose developments or solutions have use cases in any of our key business lines: testing and certification, renewable energies, transportation and distribution of electric energy, hydrogen and connected vehicle engineering, technical inspection of vehicles, as well as human resources management," she adds.

Through the Applus+ Ventures programme, we give you the opportunity to develop your project through various mechanisms of collaboration and invite you to innovate together beyond standards. Access all the information here.
