On August 9, 2021, ARCA biopharma, Inc. ("ARCA") announced the submission of a Patent Cooperation Treaty patent application, following on previously submitted provisional patent applications, for the use of ARCA's developmental drug rNAPc2 to treat patients hospitalized with COVID-19.
