AC Named Socially Responsible Company for 18th Consecutive Year
• Alongside Arca Continental, PetStar, will also receive Socially Responsible Company awards for the 7thconsecutive year.
Monterrey, Mexico, March 16, 2029. - Arca Continental, one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, announced today that it was recognized for the 18th consecutive year as Socially Responsible Company by CEMEFI, the Mexican Philanthropy Center, for its ethical and sustainable management in the economic, social and environmental areas, as well as for its community wellness programs.
In addition, PetStar, the largest food-grade PET recycling plant in the world, led by Arca Continental, Coca-Cola de Mexico and a group of Mexican bottlers, was recognized for the seventh consecutive year.
Further recognizing Arca Continental's good sustainability practices, the company has also been a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (MILA), FTSE4Good BIVA index of the Bolsa Institucional de Valores (BIVA) in Mexico since 2019, the MSCI Global Sustainability Indexes since 2014, and the S&P/BMV Total Mexico ESG Index of the Mexican Stock Exchange.
