IQALUIT - Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation ('Baffinland' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce that its proposal to return Nunavummiut employees to work at the Mary River Mine has received all necessary approvals from the Government of Nunavut, including the Chief Public Health Officer.

Dr. Michael Patterson, Nunavut's Chief Public Health Officer said, 'Baffinland has put in place a number of measures to protect the health of workers and their home communities, and now that travel restrictions have also been lifted in Nunavut, I support Nunavummiut returning to work at the Mary River Project.'
