Arena Minerals Inc. is a Canada-based lithium and copper exploration and development company with assets in Argentina and Chile. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of properties located in South America. The Company owns the Antofalla lithium brine Project in Argentina, consisting of over four claims covering a total of approximately 6,000 hectares of the central portion of Salar de Antofalla, located immediately south of Albemarle Corporation's Antofalla project. The Company has developed a brine processing technology using brine-type reagents derived from the Antofalla project with the objective of producing battery-grade lithium products. It owns 80% of the Atacama Copper Property within the Antofagasta region of Chile. The Company also owns 65% of the Sal de la Puna Project covering approximately 13,200 hectares of the Pastos Grandes basin located in Salta, Argentina.
