Swell Energy Inc. announced that it has received $120 million in funding from SoftBank Investment Advisers (UK) Limited, Greenbacker Capital Management LLC, Investment Arm, Ares Management Corporation, Ontario Power Generation Pension Fund

On November 22, 2022, Swell Energy Inc. closed the transaction. The company has received $120,000,000 in the transaction. The series B round of funding co-led by new investors, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, a fund managed by SoftBank Investment Advisers (UK) Limited and Greenbacker Development Opportunities Fund I, a fund managed by Greenbacker Capital Management LLC, Investment Arm.

The transaction includes participation from Ontario Power Generation Pension Fund and existing investor, an Ares Infrastructure Opportunities fund, fund managed by Ares Management Corporation. The company has raised $152,000,000 in equity funding till date.
