Arihant Capital Markets Limited reported unaudited standalone and consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016. For the quarter, the parent company reported net sales of INR 92.585 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 44.904 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 42.957 million and net profit after taxes and minority interest of INR 28.907 million or INR 1.39 per basic and diluted share compared to net sales of INR 82.645 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 24.976 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 24.273 million and net profit after taxes and minority interest of INR 15.394 million or INR 0.74 per basic and diluted share reported in the same period last year.
For the quarter, the Group reported net sales of INR 112.322 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 50.287 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 50.130 million and net profit after taxes and minority interest of INR 33.857 million or INR 1.63 per basic and diluted share compared to net sales of INR 103.548 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 29.768 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 35.385 million and net profit after taxes and minority interest of INR 22.740 million or INR 1.09 per basic and diluted share reported in the same period last year.
