artec delivers basis for soccer video analysis system

Diepholz and Bremen/Germany ‐ 5th June 2015: artec technologies AG (ISIN:DE0005209589) has recently delivered their XENTAURIX AV recording system to a leading operation of large sport events in Middle East. artec CEO Thomas Hoffmann states: "This is the basis for setting up a big data analysis system to support training and improve performance of world leading soccer clubs and their individual players."

artec's system will provide realtime and timeshift access to a vast amount of video footage on soccer games along with analysis data and other player related information. The system can be expanded to include customized access for soccer fan groups, and in return, collect topics of interest for deployment of marketing activities.Hoffmann continues: "Currently, there are individual analysis tools available in the market, all aiming to gear up soccer clubs with as much information as possible on opponent clubs or supporting fans. XENTAURIX integrates their data bases together with the relevant video footage."

Reports can be customized in easy‐to‐read graphics and synchronized with video contents for evidence or visual investigation. "artec's system was chosen because of its flexible integration capabilities and easy access, even from mobile devices across a large sports campus.", says Thomas
Hoffmann.
