Artefact China has been appointed by Coty, the global beauty and fragrance company, to handle the CRM strategy, design and activation of Gucci's new cosmetic and fragrances line in China.

Coty, which manufactures, markets, and distributes products for luxury brands such as Gucci, Burberry, and Calvin Klein, has tasked Artefact with building a data hub to connect Gucci's multiple touchpoints in China, including its Tmall store, brick-and-mortar store data, and owned online store data.

On the win, Edouard de Mezerac, Managing Partner of Artefact APAC, said: 'We are delighted to be working with Gucci and the Coty group on a project that uses all three of Artefact's core services: data consulting, data marketing and digital activation. We can't wait to get started.'

Artefact's work on the account begins immediately.
