Arvind Limited announced earnings results for the third quarter and Nine Months ended December 31, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was INR 16,802.6 million compared to INR 16,910.1 million a year ago. Net income was INR 400.7 million compared to INR 789.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 1.56 compared to INR 2.71 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 1.56 compared to INR 2.7 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 1.55 compared to INR 3.06 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was INR 1.55 compared to INR 3.05 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 52,827.9 million compared to INR 49,508.2 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,622.2 million compared to INR 2,005 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.67 compared to INR 7.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.67 compared to INR 7.53 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 6.27 compared to INR 7.76 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was INR 6.27 compared to INR 7.74 a year ago.
