Changes in Tallink Grupp's Tallinn-Helsinki route schedule during Easter week, 11-21 April Fri, 08 Apr 2022 15:30:00 +0300

Tallink Grupp has announced changes in its Tallinn-Helsinki route schedule during Easter week due to the ongoing technical docking of its shuttle vessel Star in Gdansk, Poland and the unplanned repair work on the route's cruise vessel Silja Europa, damaged in the storm on Tuesday night this week.

Shuttle vessel Star was due to return to the Tallinn-Helsinki route on Monday, 11 April, but the docking is now delayed by three days and the vessel will return to the route on Thursday, 14 April. The vessel will thereafter return to its normal schedule with six departures per day.

The company was hoping to return its cruise vessel Silja Europa to the route within one week of sustaining the damage to the hull, but the repairs are now anticipated to take at least two weeks, so the vessel will be out of service longer.

Tallink will add capacity to the busy Tallinn-Helsinki route during this period with added departures with the company's vessel Victoria I, which is already operating on the route since Thursday, 7 April.

From Monday, 11 April until Thursday, 14 April Victoria I will operate on the route according to the following schedule:

11 April 2022:
• Tallinn 12:30 Helsinki 16:00
• Helsinki 18:30 Tallinn 22:00

12 - 13 April 2022:
• Tallinn 09:00 Helsinki 11:30
• Helsinki 12:30 Tallinn 15:00
• Tallinn 16:00 Helsinki 18:30
• Helsinki 19:15 Tallinn22:15
14 April 2022:
• Tallinn 08:00 Helsinki 10:30
• Helsinki 11:30 Tallinn 14:00
• Tallinn 15:00 Helsinki 17:30
• Helsinki 18:30 Tallinn 22:00

From Thursday, 14 April Star will return to the Tallinn-Helsinki route and Victoria I will continue operating in the usual Silja Europa schedule as follows until Silja Europa returns to the route on 22 April:

• 12.30 Tallinn-Helsinki
• 18.30 Helsinki-Tallinn
