Asbury Automotive Group, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 3,865.9 million compared to USD 2,406.1 million a year ago. Net income was USD 205 million compared to USD 147 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 9.26 compared to USD 7.62 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 9.23 compared to USD 7.54 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was USD 11,727.9 million compared to USD 7,182.9 million a year ago. Net income was USD 644.1 million compared to USD 391.9 million a year ago. Asbury Automotive Group, Inc. is an automotive retailer company. The Company operates through two segments: Dealerships and Total Care Auto (TCA). The Company offers a range of automotive products and services, including new and used vehicles; parts and service, which includes vehicle repair and maintenance services, replacement parts and collision repair services, and finance and insurance (F&I) products, which includes arranging vehicle financing through third parties and aftermarket products, such as extended service contracts, guaranteed asset protection (GAP) debt cancellation and prepaid maintenance. The Company operates approximately 160 new vehicle dealerships, consisting of 208 franchises, representing 31 domestic and foreign brands of vehicles. Its TCA, powered by Landcar, is a provider of service contracts and other vehicle protection products, and 37 collision repair centers.
