(Alliance News) - Hera Spa, through its subsidiary Acantho, and Ascopiave Spa announced Tuesday that they have finalized the acquisition of 92 percent of the shares of Asco TLC at Asco Holding's headquarters in Pieve di Soligo, Treviso, with the stakes of 36.8 percent and 55.2 percent, respectively.

The closing follows the adjudication at the end of November 2022 of the public tender procedure called by Asco Holding for the sale of 92% of the shares in Asco TLC, held by Asco Holding itself and the CCIAA of Treviso-Belluno, and the subsequent signing on December 29, 2022 of the related contractual documentation between the Hera Group and the Ascopiave Group.

The cash-settled acquisition price is EUR37.2 million.

Asco TLC, a company active since 2001 in the provision of ICT services mainly to corporate customers and public administrations, has a significant proprietary territorial network, located in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia for more than 2,200 km of fiber optic backbones, 56 radio broadcasting bridges and 24 xDSL exchanges in unbundling and provides its services to more than 2,700 customers.

Hera trades in the green by 0.3 percent at EUR2.39 per share, while Ascopiave is up 1.2 percent at EUR2.59 per share.
