Ascott Residence Trust (SGX:HMN) agreed to acquire Four Rental Housing Properties in Japan on March 9, 2022. In related transaction Ascott Residence Trust also agreed to acquire student accommodation property in Japan. Ascott Residence Trust will invest about ¥10.4 billion to acquire these properties.
The five properties will be acquired on a turnkey basis from two different sellers on a willing buyer and willing seller basis. The transaction is expected to complete between 1Q 2022 and 2Q 2023.
