Generali's Diversity & Inclusion commitment lights up the Nasdaq Tower in New York

For the occasion, the Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali, Gabriele Galateri di Genola, was interviewed by Jill Malandrino, Global Markets Reporter at Nasdaq

On Monday 30th November, as part of the Advancing Equality Tower Campaign the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square, New York, displayed Generali's Diversity & Inclusion strategy motto: It is our differences that make the difference - #BeBoldForInclusion.

For the occasion, in an interview with Jill Malandrino, Nasdaq Global Markets Reporter, the Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali Gabriele Galateri di Genola offered an insight on the Group's D&I strategy and priorities, highlighting the commitment to leverage diversity to create long-term value, to be innovative, sustainable, and a real Lifetime Partner to its people and customers.

The Chairman also discussed the initiatives taken by the Group on a global level in four key areas of action: gender, generations, culture and inclusion, mentioning as examples upskilling and reskilling programmes, leadership training for female managers, and Group action plans on LGBTQI+ and disability.

D&I is part of Generali's commitment to sustainability, a key enabler in the Generali 2021 strategic plan. Promoting diversity and inclusion both within and outside the Group means creating value for business, people and communities with a sustainable, long-term vision. This is what Generali's purpose to 'help people to shape a safer future by caring for their lives and dreams' is about: standing by people's side in the most important moments of their lives, like a Lifetime Partner.
