18.02.2015 ATM S.A. expands cooperation with partners and clients from Ukraine

On February 19, 2015 ATM S.A. shall participate in the International Grand Forum 2015 conference held in Kiev, the largest in the region event dedicated to data collection and storage, hosting, colocation and cloud computing services. This is another step taken by ATM S.A. in the search for new markets, after the recent connection of the ATMAN network to DTEL-IX, the Kiev Internet exchange point and commencement of cooperation with new partners and clients in Ukraine.

The growing involvement of ATM S.A. in the Ukrainian market stems from the interest expressed by local companies in the top-quality services offered by the Company's data centers. This is reflected in the rising number of orders from countries of Eastern Europe, mainly from Ukraine. This interest is partly due to the geopolitical location of Poland, which for its Eastern neighbors is the closest EU country, ensuring storage and processing of data according to the highest European standards.

"The Kiev conference is another step in the implementation of our commercial plans, tied to this region of Europe. The Eastern market is immense and still not saturated with services that would fulfill the highest standards regarding data storage and safety. The new contracts we sign with our Ukrainian clients and partners are a direct result of the dynamically growing demand for our services, as well as the very high rating given to us by the current clients. This is important, because in a sensitive sector, like ours, where safety is at play, the market opinion is the key. I believe these are the first steps on the path to the broad offering of ATM S.A.'s services in Ukraine and in other countries of Eastern Europe", said Jacek Krupa, Vice President of ATM S.A.

For the last two years, ATM has been the partner of Host Park Group, the Ukrainian IT company which since 2009 has been offering colocation and hosting services. Host Park Group offers its clients dedicated servers ATMAN EcoSerwer and colocation at data centers operated by ATM S.A. The companies consider expanding their cooperation by adding other services rendered by ATM S.A. under the ATMAN and Thinx Poland brands.

Another client of ATM S.A. is the data center SteepHost based in Kharkov, which decided to place its dedicated servers in one of the ATM's server rooms and to offer this service directly to its clients. The attractive terms for using the Company's data centers are the principal reason why companies from Eastern Europe increasingly frequently consider the setting up of their backup data centers in Poland, for the purposes of Disaster Recovery procedures. Thanks to its EU Member status coupled with the geographical proximity to the East, Poland is the optimum choice.

Participation in the International Grand Forum 2015 is a continuation of the ATM S.A. strategy for the promotion of the Company's services in the Ukrainian market. The conference, held in Kiev on February 19, 2015 is the largest event of that type in the region. It shall be attended by 400 specialists who on a daily basis deal with the data collection and storage technology. The lectures, panels and open discussions shall focus on such issues as data safety, cloud computing, virtualization, cloud technologies for business, mobile infrastructure for enterprises or Big Data.

The clients of ATM S.A. from Eastern Europe can use three modern data centers of the Company, located in Poland (with total area of 10 600 square meters), and the nationwide fiber optic ATMAN network, with four European exchange points in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Moscow and the new one in Kiev. The network's structure offers new opportunities also for the Western Europe clients, who can now achieve better quality of communication to and from the East. As a result, ATM S.A. becomes a hub which connects the Eastern and Western parts of Europe with the telecommunication services that it offers.

ATM S.A. is the WSE listed Polish data center market leader as well as an expert in security of data transmission and processing. Under the ATMAN and Thinx Poland brands the company provides colocation, hosting and private cloud computing services in its data centers with 10,600 sq m (114,100 sq ft) of the total space. Using own international links and fiber-optic networks in the largest Polish cities, ATM offers broadband IP services, including Internet access and data transmission. Major recipients of the services are telecommunications operators, traditional media, Internet portals, financial institutions, commercial and industrial companies.www.atm.com.pl.
