This morning Atos announced that it has received a firm offer from the French government for the acquisition of its Advanced Computing business, excluding the Vision AI business (mainly comprising the Ipsotek subsidiary acquired in 2021).

This acquisition represents an enterprise value (EV) of €410m, including €110m in earn-out payments based on profitability indicators for FY 2025 (€50m to be paid at closing) and FY 2026 (€60m).

Atos Group's Advanced Computing business comprises the High Performance Computing (HPC) & Quantum divisions and the Business Computing & Artificial Intelligence divisions. The scope of the transaction is expected to generate revenue of approximately €0.8bn in 2025.

Eviden will reorganize its Vision AI capabilities (based in the United Kingdom) into a new division to continue to focus on AI, data and security.

Atos Group's financial trajectory for 2028 presented at the Capital Markets Day on 14 May 2025, assuming the sale of Advanced Computing, remains unchanged, it said.
