Attica Group announced consolidated earnings and operating results for the first nine months ended September 30, 2016. For the first nine months, the company announced consolidated revenues of EUR 215.98 million compared to EUR 222.47 million in nine month 2015 (decrease of 2.9%) and earnings before interest, taxes, investing and financial results, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of EUR 62.35 million (EUR 72.86 million for the same period in 2015). The a decline in consolidated revenues compared to the nine month 2015 period, relates mostly to the refugees flows impact in the North Aegean and Dodecanese islands, as well as, to the intensified competition in the maritime transport. Consolidated profits after tax amounted to EUR 26.50 million compared to EUR 34.50 million for the nine month in 2015.

For the first nine months, group's vessels carried 3.37 million passengers against 3.73 million in the same period in 2015, 500,000 private vehicles against 481,000 in the same period in 2015 and 224,000 freight units against 206,000 in the same period in 2015, with 1.3% more sailings compared to the same period in 2015.
