Austevoll Seafood ASA reported audited group and parent company earnings results for the full year of 2016. For the year, the group reported sales revenue was NOK 18,905 million against NOK 15,240 million a year ago. Operating profit was NOK 4,462 million against NOK 1,633 million a year ago. Profit before taxes was NOK 4,683 million against NOK 1,572 million a year ago. Profit attributable to shareholders of company was NOK 1,645 million or NOK 8.17 per share from continued operation against NOK 722 million or NOK 3.59 per share from continued operation a year ago. EBITDA was NOK 3,880,831,000 compared to NOK 2,244,076,000 a year ago. EBIT (before fair value adj.biological assets) was NOK 2,912,911,000 compared to NOK 1,386,436,000 a year ago. Net interest bearing debt was NOK 5,492,880,000 compared to NOK 4,838,160,000 a year ago. Return on equity was 23% compared to 10% a year ago. Net cash flow from operating activities was NOK 3,249 million against NOK 1,211 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible and tangible fixed assets was NOK 1,142 million against NOK 1,126 million a year ago.
For the year, the parent company reported sales revenue was NOK 2,133,000 against NOK 2,156,000 a year ago. Operating loss was NOK 27,419,000 against NOK 28,648,000 a year ago. Profit before taxes was NOK 1,310,446,000 against NOK 440,911,000 a year ago. Net profit for the year was NOK 1,310,446,000 against NOK 419,093,000 a year ago. Net cash flow from operating activities was NOK 52,983,000 against NOK 41,465,000 a year ago. Earnings per share from continued operation was NOK 6.50 compared to NOK 2.08 a year ago.
