AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd. (Chief Executive Officer Representative Director: Kiomi Kobayashi) has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on regional revitalization with Oita Prefecture, and is engaged in eight initiatives related to regional revitalization. This time, in 'Other collaborative fields related to revitalization of local communities and improvement of services for citizens of the prefecture', we will make new efforts to promote DX (digital transformation) in Oita prefecture.

Overview

Support for prefectural staff to establish design thinking

AUTOBACS SEVEN 've been cultivated in product development by the customer eyes expertise taking advantage of, in information science high school than last year, we are teaching that the theme of design thinking. As part of the development of DX human resources that will transform administrative services and systems, we will support efforts to establish design thinking for prefectural staff.

STEP1 (FY2021)

  • Held a design thinking workshop for all groups (about 30 people) of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Tourism and Labor
  • A design thinking workshop was jointly held by young volunteers from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Tourism and Labor and high school students in the prefecture (about 20 people).
  • Holding a spot for design thinking workshops for employees who wish to belong


STEP2 (after 2022)

  • expertise accumulated in STEP 1 and 2, full-scale deployment to all stations

Promotion of data utilization

  1. Project creation through data distribution and collaboration infrastructure, etc.

Pharmaceutical drone delivery demonstration

2020​ ​February)

■ Conducted a drone delivery demonstration experiment of prescription drugs in the Miyato area of Taketa city. Aim to reduce the burden of regional medical care by simplifying the delivery of medicines during home-visit medical care in depopulated areas.

IoT taxi dispatch demonstration
(February 2020)

■ Conducted a demonstration experiment of a device that can call a taxi with the touch of a button in the Notsuharu district of Oita city. As the best means of transportation in the area where aging is advancing, we support the increase of outing opportunities for the elderly and the monitoring of the elderly in the area.

IoT trap installation at Mt. Futago
(June 2019)

■ A trap for capturing birds and beasts will be set up in Kunisaki City, and if a bird or beast is caught in a trap, a notification will be sent to the administrator's smartphone, aiming to reduce the burden of managing the trap. (Visualization of bird and beast capture)

(April 2020)

■ A lab is set up at the Information Science High School, staff are resident, and class support is provided.
・ In 2021, class support will begin at Kuju Kogen Agricultural High School.

■ Support for club activities at Information Science High School (drone soccer club). Currently, 9 members practice for 2 hours once, 3 times a week.

Japan's first drone stadium opened
(July 2020)

■ Established the first drone soccer field in Beppu City that meets international standards. Activities to expand the base of new drone competitions.

Other,revitalization of local communities and improvement of prefectural services

Concluding a comprehensive cooperation agreement with municipalities in the prefecture
(March 2019-July 2020)

Kunisaki City, Yufu City, Usa City, Taketa City and other areas will be further revitalized and the citizen services will be improved by solving regional issues.

Strengthening the activity system in the prefecture
(April 2020)

Significant increase in personnel from the 3rd year of​ ​Reiwa​ ​(8 → 16 people, including 3 people hired in the prefecture). It contributes not only to the resident employees but also to the creation of local employment.
