The Stockholm Stock Exchange starts Tuesday with a clear decline. MTG is going against the tide after announcing a major acquisition.

After 24 minutes of trading, the OMXS30 index was down 0.91 percent to 2,552.95. During the day, the index has moved within the range -1.00 percent at its lowest and -0.69 percent at its highest.

The broad OMXSPI was down 0.97 percent.
