BANKRUPTCY COURT ADJOURNS HEARING

Bogotá D.C., October 26, 2021. Avianca Holdings S.A.'s ("Avianca" or the "Company") informs that as part of the Company's process to emerge from Chapter 11, the hearing to seek confirmation of the Plan of Reorganization began today. The US Bankruptcy Court adjourned the hearing and requested further information. The Court established the deadline to provide said information for Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 5 p.m. (Eastern Time). The Company remains focused on advancing its Chapter 11 process as efficiently as possible.
